The brand Krooberg was launched in 2008. It started producing footwear mainly for the European market. Its initial product offering included boots and summer sandals and slippers.
Its mother company has been in the manufacturing business for over 10 years, producing various types of footwear for popular brands in Europe, Asia, and the United States. After accumulating extensive experience handling global footwear brands, it finally decided to develop its own — Krooberg.
After its modest success in Europe, where its products are sold through major chain stores, in late 2011 the brand embarked on its expansion into Asia. Armed with its extensive research data on the region's distinct climate and customer preferences, coupled with its retail experience in Europe, it created a collection specifically for the region. It took market staples such as flip-flops, sandals, and casual shoes and gave it a fresh scandinavian design twist. Its collection's character is an interesting mix of sophisticated simplistic lines, bold colors, and a distinctly unconventional design approach.
